In this article, I give you my quick review of the Nokia N9 mobile phone with specs included. After the official world debut of the Nokia N9 in June 2011, this device is now available worldwide.
After the first contact with the device, a feeling like “I have to own this phone” appears! The N9 is a smartphone that captivates with its looks and functions alike.
The successor of the Nokia N8 is more or less the same in size as its predecessor and with its 135g it fits nicely in the hands, neither too heavy nor too light. The N9 is available in 3 colors Black, Cyan and Magenta and we must say that each option has its own “taste”. In terms of design, this model is an enviable work, which was to be expected for a Nokia camera of this class.
Performance
Certainly the biggest impression is left by the AMOLED display with its 3.9 inches, which is sensitive to touch and is made of Gorilla Glass technology, which guarantees a durable wear-resistant display.
The display has a resolution of 480 × 854 pixels with 16m colors and we can say that is clean, clear and clear with vivid colors and the only criticism we could give for the display is that when changing the viewing angle, the display retains the sharpness of the image, which we could not say about the colors.
The Nokia N9’s camera with its 8 MP is “weaker” compared to its predecessor, which had an exceptional 12 MP, but as with the N8, the camera has Carl Zeiss optics which is considered the best commercial optics today and we really can’t blame on image quality as well as great 720p video at 30 frames per second.
Finally, we come to the part that will interest a large number of fans of mobile telephony, of course it is the “brain” of Nokia N9.The operating system under which this device works is MeeGo v1.2 Harmattan developed by Linux, and Cortex A8 CPU processor of 1MHz- and it is “up to the task” when it comes to this model, and the N9 works smoothly and without braking, which was to be expected for Nokia’s market star
Wi Fi wireless internet connection works solidly and users of this model will have the opportunity to enjoy internet content and a number of supported applications.
Nokia N9 has support for A-GPS with these maps, TV out, Document viewer (unfortunately without an editor), NFC support and boasts exceptional sound quality thanks to Dolby digital plus systems.
Nokia has launched another exceptional device with the N9 model, and we have no doubt that it will be warmly received by mobile phone users, considering that Nokia’s N series is traditionally high quality and successful.
Even the announced price of this device is acceptable. According to world blogs, N9 users are satisfied and have only words of praise for this model, and we will certainly continue to report on possible BUGs. now let’s enjoy the magic called Nokia N9.
Nokia N9 White
A few weeks after the N9 line launch, during the Nokia World Conference, it was officially announced that the top model of Finnish Nokia – N9 – will also appear in white, so the total number of available colors increased to 4 – cyan, magenta, black and now – white.
As expected, many world media did not miss the opportunity to comment on how Nokia once again threw a glove in the face of Apple, noting that it took the Americans more than half a year to pack the iPhone 4 in a white case.
Nokia used the N9’s case, ie. also borrowed for the Windows Phone 7 Lumia 800 phone, which I wroke about in one of the other posts. However, the white color of the case remains the exclusive property of the exclusively MeeGo model.
In any case, the specifications of the white MeeGo Nokia N9 remain unchanged, with the new model being sold exclusively via the Finnish online store Verkkokauppa, where the 64 GB version costs premium price.
The Nokia N9 in white is available now, but the Finnish store does not have support for delivery worldwide. However, if you browse online, you will find this model and you will easily reach your new star.
